Gravel bumpy interior roads. Nice clean laundry. The owner, Helen, is very friendly, however it appears the park is too much for her to manage. The landscaping is neglected and the picnic tables are all splintered. Shade trees are plentiful. Road noise is noticeable. The drive-in theater next door is operational but was not a bother to us.
Nice friendly staff. Great location in town with easy access to anywhere in the city. Long pull thru sites with grass, but few trees. back-in sites have large shade trees. Laundry room has new washers that have a water saving feature to use less water. The rinse cycle did not seem sufficient. Great cable TV with lots of channels. We enjoyed our 4 night stay.
We stayed one night. The park is on the side of a small hill, but sites are mostly level. There are few trees, but pretty mountains are visible. If you love dogs, you will fit right in. Neighbors who appear to be here for an extended time based on a small fence and large propane tank, have 2 dogs that bark at anyone walking or driving in the park. There is also one dog that roams freely, but seemed friendly and did not bark. The interstate noise is high. Laundry room was clean.
We stayed 2 nights. After asking for a site away from small "yappie" dogs, shortly after setting up another motorhome parked next to us with 2 small dogs that constantly barked. The sites are large with trees, but power and water hook ups are towards the back so we needed an extra hose to reach because of our toad. The sewer connections are somewhat far to the side of the site, but located in the middle. The highway noise can be heard at night. There seems to be a double standard about clothes lines. The rules say no, but it was OK for a long term camper near the office.
